In recent weeks, a collection of Windows Phone 8.1 features have been shown in video, including Cortana personal assistant and the Action Center notification panel. After that, two another latest WP8.1 feature has been displayed, which is not as bigger as Action Center or Cortana, but still worthy.
In below given video clip, Windows Phone 8.1’s Wi-Fi Settings menu is shown that includes the new Wi-Fi Sense feature. When it activated, Wi-Fi Sense allows users to connect with Wi-Fi hotspots without entering personal information like name, email address, etc. manually.
Furthermore, with this feature, users can also share their Wi-Fi connection with Skype, Facebook and Outlook friends. Apart from, another Wi-Fi setting shown is a timer for reactivating the phone’s connection.
When Wi-Fi is turned off, users can turn on automatically in 1 hour, 4 hours or 1 day. I mentioned before, this Wi-Fi aren’t exactly the largest features to a mobile OS, but a nice little features that helps user to use Wi-Fi on a Windows Phone 8.1 device easier.
For instance: With Wi-Fi Sense feature, user can easily hope onto hotspots quicker than before and providing more time while using that connection.
